Which therapy is best for me
I am passionate about helping people overcome challenges and lead a more satisfying and content life. I have many years of experience assisting people to find solutions to what life throws up. I offer a free 20-minute introduction where we can discuss what counselling does, and help you decide if you want to work with me, and ask any questions you may have.

My approach to counselling is to provide you with the trust and freedom to talk about what is happening to you. I treat everything said as confidential. I am honest, respectful and understanding, and I aim to help you find the solutions you need or want and work on how to achieve those. I work with all clients inclusively.
I have been asked the question “What does therapy do?” and, depending on what is happening for you and your own circumstances and motivations, there is no one-size-fits-all answer. I work with you as an individual, made up of your own experiences, behaviours, thoughts and feelings. Whilst others may have gone through similar events to you, no one has experienced it in the same way.
The starting point is to build a strong relationship by ensuring everything benefits you and by being honest. I treat everything as confidential, save for a few exceptions that are very rare, and I do not disclose anything you talk about to anyone else. As well as common mental health difficulties, I have additional training to help in the following areas
I work with people experiencing a wide range of problems:
-
relationship difficulties
-
How to combat jealousy in a relationship
-
love problems and solutions - limerance

Integrative Therapy
This type of therapy brings together different approaches, tailored to you and helps address a range of issues more effectively than using only one type of counselling. If you wish to know more or have a question about working in a specific way, please do get in touch.
The past does not have to equal the future. You can change your behaviours and improve how you feel about yourself and life overall. With the right support, you can understand the reasons behind your actions and find healthier ways in order to be the best version of yourself.
You’ll always be met with empathy, sincerity, and deep respect for your unique journey. While we can't change the past, we can absolutely change what happens next.

I work in a way that is inclusive, affirming and sensitive to diverse experiences and identities. I bring my own life experiences into the work to meet you with genuine understanding, warmth, and humanity.

Psychotherapeutic Coaching
Psychotherapeutic Coaching - blending counselling and therapeutic coaching to combine and create a unique space for you, not only to navigate your challenges but also to harness your existing strengths and aspirations. This works by fostering a supportive and empathetic environment, you can explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment, thereby facilitating deeper self-awareness, using a life coaching therapy approach.

After some clients have counselling and understand their " Why's," they go on to ask "Now what's next". Combining counselling with life coaching can help the focus shift to future plans. Like setting goals, realising what they truly want and achieving their dreams and desires.
What therapy is right for me?
Finding the best therapist starts with understanding that different modes of therapy can help in different ways, but the fit between you and the person you work with matters most. It’s worth speaking with a few people to get a feel for their style and whether it sits well with you. If you’re looking for the best therapist for depression, or support with something specific that has happened in your life, make sure they have real experience and the right qualifications in that area. If you’d like help sorting through your options, get in touch and we can talk about what you need. Let’s arrange a free initial consultation where you can ask questions and find out more.

You deserve to feel good about your life, your choices, and yourself. Change is possible, and you don’t have to go it alone.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, for you, knowing this confirms I have undertaken robust training and am suitably qualified to work as a therapist and Helping You Find Change and build Confidence.
